Landmark Holding Group

Landmark Holding Group's Challenge

Landmark Holding group was formed in 2018, the company specialises in developing and managing insurance intermediaries.

The company provides a range of insurance services to their clients, including claims management, financial control, compliance and risk management.

Landmark have developed unique IT systems to support their professional support services to their clients.

There are a number of brands within the group, which include Landmark Underwriting and Landmark MGA.

As well as providing professional services to their insurance industry clients, Landmark aim to provide their own employees with an exciting working environment, which is demonstrated in the quality and facilities that were required for their new Central London head quarters office.

Oaktree's Solution

The retail unit had been vacant for a number of years, but was still fitted as a record store and therefore required a full strip-out before the Oaktree Interiors team of designers embarked on designing a new modern and vibrant office design.

Our team was tasked with designing a number of different working areas within the open plan office space. Within the design we created a mix of permanent workstations, hot desks, informal meeting and collaboration spaces.

A new, modern boardroom was built, together with an open plans kitchen /breakout area, incorporating high level bench seating.

Adjacent to the breakout an electronic golf practise system was installed, projected on a large screen within a dedicated game area, utilising the latest golf game technology, creating a fun and unique facility for staff and visitors to enjoy away from the desk.

What Oaktree Delivered

As a leading provider of services to the insurance industry, Landmark Group needed their first UK office to be located within the heart of the insurance district in Central London.

As such they identified the perfect location within a former HMV store in the famous Leadenhall Market, perfectly located between The Leadenhall Building (affectionately known as The Cheese Grater), and The Lloyds Building, the landmark building that is home to Lloyds of London.

Landmark required a space that could be used as a convenient touchdown point for staff and insurance associates, but also a convenient place to hold formal and informal meetings.

The desire was to create an attractive space that encourages team working and an environment that staff and clients alike look forward to visiting.

Whilst being bright, modern and professional, the brief was to also create a space that staff could utilise to take a well deserved break from work.
