Since 1706, Twinings has been at the forefront of the tea trade –blending and innovating to grow the premium tea category. This nine week project aimed to transform the dated dining facilities into a contemporary and fresh cafe style eating area and the kitchen preparation and cooking facilities into a fully equipped commercial grade kitchen.
To make the restaurant feel fresher and more spacious, feature lighting and circular mf drop ceilings were introduced and the new split level seating area now accommodates up to 70 people at a time. New mechanical and electrical infrastructures were installed including new fresh air handling and extraction systems in both the preparation and seating areas. Following the new branding theme of Twinings, full coloured feature wall graphics can be found throughout the restaurant.Naturally, with R. Twinings as the client, a dedicated area was formed to brew and serve the perfect cup of tea.
