Over the past 40 years they have built a market leading retail network of specialist foreign exchange stores, and have developed Travelex as a trusted and widely recognised brand in foreign exchange. Their mission is to help their customers spend and send money around the world.
Operating across 30 countries and covering the entire value chain of the retail foreign exchange industry. Their retail business operates stores in the world's top international airports and in major transport hubs, premium shopping malls, high street locations, supermarkets and city centres.
These are challenging retail environments because of all of the necessary health & safety compliances, security procedures and access restrictions. We have carried out installations for Travelex at virtually every national and international airport within the UK. We have also assisted with other business development programmes which have led to the creation of our 'POD' units which are self-contained, secure trading units. These are suitable for use as additional or temporary trading points which can be operational in less than one day.
Travelex are the market leaders in the Travel Money foreign exchange market with bureaus worldwide. For the past 7years, Oaktree has regularly assisted Travelex in refurbishing many of their UK airport locations in addition to providing a full 'Design and Build' turnkey service at several new site locations.
