Maxon Motors is one of the largest providers of high-precision drive systems in the world. When the time came time to refurbish their office space in Finchampstead, they sought the services of a reliable office fit out company who could create a flexible space for their day-to-day operations. The 1st floor needed to be completely re-planned and the ground floor needed updating to create a comfortable reception and waiting area.
We turned the ground floor into a single reception area, with high quality seating to ensure that all visitors could wait in comfort. The main bulk of our efforts were focused on the 1st floor, which we updated from a tired, closed off space into an interactive open-plan area. We selected furniture that was both comfortable and which reflected the Maxon Motors brand and in acknowledgement of their brand identity and corporate colours we introduced a red and white theme with it also being illustrated on the glass partitions and window panes. It was important that the office space offered the company room to grow in the UK, and so we added the option for mobile and shared working spaces. We also completely overhauled the existing data and electrical systems to meet the needs of the current workforce.
