The Brief

Lambert Smith Hampton', one of the country's leading commercial property agents, relocated their offices to the top floor of 'Central Point', one of the landmark buildings in Reading. The general office layout was required to be open plan in style with a large conference room, archive stores area, separate tea point and a spacious reception and waiting area.

The Solution

Full height walnut veneered doors were used to emphasise the generous ceiling height whilst full height silicon jointed glass panels and doors were used to create the divide between the office and Reception area to allow the natural light to dissipate throughout the building. New data and power circuits were fitted in the area and the existing air conditioning system was modified to suit the new layout, with individual controllers introduced to allow zone control. Heavy contract grade carpet was fitted throughout the office whilst a design featured vinyl plank was used in the reception area to compliment the door veneers.
