Dek is the world's leading provider of equipment and processes for the high accuracy mass imaging of electronic materials. Dek required an urgent space reallocation to meet increased sales orders for their printing machinery. 750 sq mt of current office space was needed to be converted to production space as soon as possible and the 105 office personnel were to be relocated to a mezzanine floor area of similar proportions.
Oaktree provided a number of possible layouts for the client to choose from, making sure that the space was managed to its full capacity to allow for further growth. The mezzanine area was currently being used as an archival and storage area, and would require input from all disciplines of our site team. The project involved dry lining, partitioning, new air conditioning and fresh air system, electrical and data supply, suspended ceiling, fire alarms, flooring and 7 new external windows (Including planning submissions and approvals). We also fitted a new breakout and rest section to serve this newly created area. Works commenced on 15th March and the final handover over took place on schedule on 21st April.
