Every day their infrastructure and associated services enable millions of people and machines to connect wherever they are through TV, radio, mobile and the Internet of Things (IoT). They are an independent provider of telecom towers, with around 8,000 active licensed sites, and the only national provider of terrestrial television and radio broadcasting.
Their technology enables them to work with everyone from mobile network operators, such as BT-EE, Vodafone, O2 and Three to independent radio groups and major broadcasters, such as the BBC, ITV, Sky, Turner and CANAL+ to utility companies such as Thames Water.
The works involved creating several offices and meeting rooms along the central area of the footprint of the floor each with new air conditioning and ventilation infrastructure. The glass partitions featured branded manifestations to them. Special considerations were made for the power supplies to the Comms Room and Operations Rooms ensuring that UPS backup systems were in place in the event of a power failure. New Break-out facilities were created with plenty of room for all the staff to create and enjoy their favourite beverage. We relocated much of the Arqiva's existing desking and furniture from Warwick to install at Hemel Hempstead.
Arqiva are a leading communications infrastructure and media services company, they provide much of the infrastructure behind television, radio, satellite and wirelesscommunications in the UK.
