Oaktree Interiors have successfully been appointed to carry out the interior design and refurbishment service for NVM's existing office in Reading. Following the initial contact, which was made by Jay Balkhu, Oaktree's Business Development Manager, he arranged a meeting with Perry Mills and MD David Rolfe to discuss the initial project brief in April 2015. This was the perfect opportunity to consider their office refurbishment in Berkshire options, as they were approaching a break in their lease, and decided to extend their lease at Forbury Court.
Oaktree's Design & Contracts team carried out a full-site survey of the premises, in order to come up with an alternative design/layout. The aim was to refurbish the space and create a design which more efficiently utilised the available space by reducing the footprint of the furniture. The design would require new office and boardroom furniture to accommodate the new office layout.
Once a layout had been agreed upon, Oaktree's Brian Carswell carried out a presentation meeting with David Rolfe and James Arrowsmith to discuss the proposal in greater detail. Of the few companies invited to tender their designs, NVM decided that Oaktree was the ideal team for them, and we are delighted to announce that Oaktree Interiors has been awarded the contract to carry out the office refurbishment in Berkshire in the Summer of 2015.

Forbury Court is a prominent, modern office building with one ground and five upper floors that is located on Forbury Road in the centre of Reading , less than 150m from Reading Station. The property itself benefits from a generous reception area, complete air conditioning, full access raised floors and a passenger lift. The suite also benefits from two secure, on-site car parking spaces.
We have been asked to provide a completely new office design which honestly reflects the company's brand identity. We are to refurbish the office itself, and optimise the space through the supply and installation of new furniture and completely new flooring for approximately 3,000 sq ft of space.
The office refurbishment demands that we create an atmosphere which enjoys a completely fresh, modern and distinctive look and feel, which includes breakout area, new boardroom and meeting room furniture, a manager's workstation, new desks for the open-plan office floor and store walls.
