Here at Oaktree Interiors, we are pleased to announce that we have recently been awarded the contract to carry out the complete office design and build project for one of the world's leading charities, International Medical Corps, for their brand new London office.
Oaktree were awarded the contract following a vigorous design & build selection process. Fortunately, when it comes to office design in London, no company knows more about how to create a unique, brand-focused space than our experienced team.
The IMC is a global organisation dedicated to delivering lifesaving medications and universal healthcare all over the world, no matter how difficult conditions patients find themselves in. Over the years, they have developed an incredible reputation as an emergency response organisation.
The International Medical Corps are the first on the scene and the last ones to leave. They support communities and individuals across the globe in rebuilding and helping to survive by providing the four building blocks of recovery – Water, Food, Safety and Medicine. Finally, before they leave, they make sure that communities have the ability to survive on their own by passing on useful skills and essential knowledge through local training.
Located at the Scandinavian Centre in London, just to the south of Canary Wharf, it occupies a prominent position on the western end of Marsh Wall (161), which is one of London Docklands' main arterial routes. Canary Wharf is accessed via the adjacent pedestrian bridge, which provides access to the Jubilee Line and Heron Quay DLR station, as well as more than 700,000 square feet of shops, bars and restaurants.
The brief set for Oaktree Interiors was to create their new UK headquarters and provide an open plan and cellular office space for the organisation's 50+ staff. The design was also to include all new, high-quality furniture.
We were also to create new meeting rooms, along with a completely original and modern open-plan office design to facilitate easy and rewarding collaborative working. It was important that the workspace featured a light and inclusive atmosphere, and so we included a mixture of solid and glass wall partitions to create private working and meeting spaces. This was all coupled with a break out area for the staff to relax and enjoy their free time.
All the necessary infrastructure work, including electrical services, will be carried out as part of this modern office design in London.
Here at Oaktree Interiors, we are extremely proud of our history as a reliable provider of bespoke office designs in London. When it comes to the creation of bespoke workspaces for all kinds of businesses, we are the UK's leader. We don't believe in following the latest trends but, instead, focus on the unique demands of a workforce and the company as a whole.
